FANUM SECURITY

About FANUM

Your tech and cyber partner, in the literal sense of the word.

A partner is somebody who is still there when the project gets difficult. That is a low bar, and a surprising number of technology suppliers fail it.

FANUM Security was founded in 2024. We work across four disciplines that most organisations are forced to buy separately: cybersecurity and governance, systems integration, CRM transformation, and custom software engineering.

We kept those four together deliberately. The hardest failures in enterprise technology do not happen inside a discipline — they happen at the boundaries. An integration that quietly breaks a security control. A CRM migration that loses the audit trail. A custom application that nobody thought to include in the vulnerability scan. When one firm owns all four, those boundaries stop being somebody else's responsibility.

Alongside client work we build and operate our own products — a CRM platform, a continuous compliance system, a digital risk service, a financial planning tool and a commerce platform. Building software we have to support ourselves changes how we advise other people about theirs.

We work in Azerbaijani and in English, with the local regulatory context and the international frameworks both properly understood rather than translated at the last minute.

How we operate

01

One accountable team

Four disciplines under one contract. When something breaks at the boundary between two of them, there is nobody to point at, which is precisely the arrangement we wanted.

02

Evidence over assertion

Findings come with reproduction steps. Recommendations come with the reasoning. If we cannot show you why, you should not act on it — and we should not have said it.

03

Built to be handed over

Documentation, knowledge transfer and source ownership are part of delivery. A client who could replace us and chooses not to is a better relationship than one who cannot.

04

Local presence, international standards

On the ground in Baku, working to ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS and GDPR expectations. Proximity and rigour are not a trade-off.

Where we sit

Baku is a genuinely useful place to run this kind of firm. Azerbaijani organisations in banking, energy, telecommunications and the public sector face the same regulatory and threat pressure as their European counterparts, frequently with leaner teams and less patience for consultancy theatre.

That shapes how we work: fewer slides, earlier delivery, and a strong preference for arrangements that leave the client more capable at the end than at the start.

Tell us what is keeping you up.

An audit deadline, an integration that keeps breaking, a CRM nobody uses, or a suspicion that something is already wrong. Start with the problem — we will tell you honestly whether it is one we should take on.
